OVERCOMING WATER CHALLENGE

 Started in 2023, we have make great strides in creating food security for the children.  We have purchased land and raised crops the past 3 years to feed the children.  The work is never done, and we are asking for support to build a reliable water source for the crops.   

 Our uphill location limits water supply, and our hand-dug borehole can't sustain us during dry seasons. Children often walk downstream to buy water, but funds are sometimes scarce.  With your support, we can:  

1. Harvest rainwater from buildings
2. Drill another water source

This would ensure a steady water supply, enabling us to irrigate our farmland for year-round harvests.  Your help would make a significant difference in our children's lives! 

 At Living Hope Orphanage, providing medical care is a core principle. We believe that good health is essential for our children to thrive and build a brighter future.  To achieve this, we're committed to ensuring our children have access to:  

1. Proper sanitation facilities (good latrines)
2. Medical care 
3. Good sleeping (Beddings)

 Five years ago, we took a significant step towards securing our orphanage by building a perimeter wall around our property, providing a safer environment for our children. However, we didn’t close the entrances - installing metallic gates and security lights.  These additions will greatly enhance the safety and security of our children, allowing them to move freely even at night. Your support would help us complete this crucial aspect of our infrastructure, giving us peace of mind and our children a sense of security.  Let's work together to create a safer haven for our children!
